Zell am See is one of Austria's most accessible ski resorts with a choice if airports within easy access and excellent road and rail links.
By Car- Zell am See is easily accessable from the Austrian and German motorway network.
Please note
- A Vignette is required to use Austrian motorways, these can be bought at service stations as you approch the Austrian border or online in advance. A 10 day Vignette currently costs approxamatly 8 Eur.
- Winter tyres are required for all vehicles from 1st November to 15th April.
- Apartment Lakeview does not have allocated parking but there is are several public car parks in Zell am See, the nearest is directly across the street from Apartment Lakeview.

Salzburg - Zell am See is approximately 1 hr 15m from Salzburg airport by car/taxi, there is a direct bus service from the airport to Zell am See Bus Station (approx 200m from Apartment Lakeview) and there is a regular train service from Salzburg station to Zell am See. Zell am See train station is approx 50m from Apartment Lakeview.
Munich - Zell am See is aproxomatley 2 hr 30m from Munich airport by car/taxi. It is also possible to take train from Munich central station to Salzburg and change there for train to Zell am See.
Note if hiring a car at Munich airport please check that the vehicle is equiped with winter tyres.
Innsbruck - Zell am See ia approxomatley 2 hrs from Innsbruck airport by car/taxi. It is also possible to take the train froms Innsbruck direct to Zell am See.
